Meet Cody Jaxon

Real estate is more than a transaction—it's one of the most important financial decisions you'll ever make. That's why I believe every client deserves honest advice, clear communication, and an agent who takes the time to educate rather than simply sell.

My path to real estate hasn't been conventional, and that's one of my greatest strengths.

Born and raised in Calgary and now proudly calling Cochrane home, I've spent more than 20 years building businesses, leading teams, educating others, and helping people achieve their goals. After studying Marketing at the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary, my career took me through sales, marketing, entrepreneurship, and entertainment. I sold door-to-door for ADT, marketed nationally recognized brands including Disney, Microsoft, Rogers, Captain Morgan, and Band-Aid, managed one of Calgary's busiest Blockbuster Video locations, and in 2012 co-founded illFX Entertainment, helping grow it into an award-winning dance studio and corporate entertainment company.

As a professional dancer and instructor for more than two decades, I've had the opportunity to train and perform in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Vancouver, and even work alongside Paula Abdul. While those experiences may seem far removed from real estate, they taught me invaluable lessons about discipline, preparation, leadership, communication, and helping people succeed—skills I bring to every client relationship today.

Along the way, I also developed a passion for real estate investing. Through my involvement with the Keyspire Real Estate Investing community, I gained knowledge in income properties, multi-family investments, REITs, and private lending. That experience shaped the way I view real estate—not just as a place to live, but as one of the most effective tools for creating financial security and building generational wealth.

Today, I combine that investment mindset with a genuine passion for helping people. I especially enjoy working with first-time buyers, growing families, move-up buyers, and downsizers, helping them understand not only what they're buying, but why it's the right decision for their future. I love walking through homes, seeing possibilities others may overlook, and helping clients recognize both the emotional and financial value of a property.

Clients often appreciate my attention to detail, analytical mindset, and organized approach (I've never met a spreadsheet I didn't like). More importantly, they know I'm someone who listens, answers questions honestly, and is committed to making the buying or selling process as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

When I'm not helping clients, you'll usually find me spending time with my wife and daughter, camping, snowboarding, golfing, or enjoying everything the outdoors has to offer. I'm also passionate about giving back to the arts community through fundraising initiatives that help provide dance opportunities for children from low-income families.
