About Melissa
Prior to real estate, I held a long career in dentistry where I successfully navigated complex planning, confidential discussions, and value-centered decision-making by combining clear communication, strong organization, and genuine listening in order to offer the best care to our patients. My work required the ability to simplify the unknown while managing expectations with delicacy —skills I now look forward to applying to real estate clients.
In parallel with my professional career, I owned and operated a successful holistic wellness practice, where I supported clients through their healing journey using modalities like reflexology, massage, reiki and yoga practices.
This dual experience sharpened my ability to meet people where they are—whether they need calm reassurance, strategic guidance, or both—and reinforced my belief that trust is built through presence, integrity, and consistency.
My decision to pursue real estate is deeply intentional. It’s inspired by my father, who pursued a personal venture into real estate later in life, while bravely navigating cancer. His business savvy and creativity closed deals but his amazing sense of humour is what made my day. He encouraged me to maintain our shared humorous side, authenticity and strong values as these will always lead to meaningful success.
Even in real estate, I believe there is room for La Dolce Vita—a life well lived, grounded in balance, purpose, and enjoyment. I look forward to connecting with my clients and supporting their real estate needs as they navigate life’s transitions- whether they’re just starting out and buying their first home or downsizing to pursue their travels in retirement, I am honoured to be part of their journey.
